About THAME SAFARI
SAFARI has been running for 18 months in Thame. We are a group of people who get together once a month on a Friday between 6pm and 8pm at Thame Barns Centre.
Sometimes we have guest speakers about local events or facilities. At other times we make decisions together about what we want to do as a group. Last month we had a box quiz. We also designed our Logo for new T.Shirts.
This month we will be getting ready for the Carnival in Thame. We have also had an outing to go Bowling in Oxford.
Sometimes we meet at the Pub on a Friday and sometimes we meet at the Well in Thame.
When we are at the Barns Centre the Wombles( Thame Workshop) also have a stall so we can buy gifts and chocolate. This is run by some of the members of SAFARI.
There is normally around 25 people( we have Volunteers too). We have a great time. We spend the first half doing things and the second half having a disco run by one of the members.
